RELIGIOUS OBSERVANCE DAY 2004
We were
blessed and a overjoyed to have sixty children enter The Salvation Army
Community Church on the morning of November 1 2004 to celebrate Religious
Observance Day. It took months of planning and hard work with various church
groups in Wiarton working together to make this special day possible to
celebrate our Lord. The theme used was “we are all saints working together with
God to help build a better community”. The children had a wonderful time
enjoying a puppet show, music, games, crafts and nutritious snacks.
Thank you to
God and all involved who made this a fun, educational and memorable day. We feel
we have opened the doors wider in this community for children to meet Jesus and
we look forward to making this ministry a yearly event for children to
recognize, understand and learn about purpose in their lives.
Blessings Lt. Dwight Millar
