2nd Annual Fund Raiser Golf Tournament/Dinner/Auction.

Second Annual Fund Raiser Golf Tournament/Dinner/Auction.

The day turned out to be a typical beautiful summer’s day, hot and humid. Forty people attended the golf Tournament, followed by a delicious Roast beef dinner which fed 80 people. As a prelude to the Dinner and immediately following, the participants were blessed by live  musical performance from a local musician. They did an amazing job, to the delight of all who were present. The auction silent auction then proceeded. We couldn’t have asked for a better day and were very blessed to have raised $1400.00

Thank you for your contribution which assisted us in meeting . As the cost of hydro has increased again, we shudder to think of the needs that will emerge this fall and winter.

Blessings,

Lt. Dwight Millar

1st Annual Fund Raiser Golf Tournament/Dinner/Auction.

The day began with the threat of rain, but by the afternoon had cleared up and turned out to be a typical summer’s day, hot and humid. 49 people attended the golf Tournament, followed by a delicious Roast beef dinner which fed 104 people. As a prelude to the Dinner and immediately following, the participants were blessed by a musical performance from the youth jazz group “Technicolour Dream Band” from West Hill Secondary School. They did an amazing job, to the delight of all who were present.

The auction then proceeded under the expertise of our gifted Auctioneer, Pastor David Opperthauser. We couldn’t have asked for a better day or turnout and were very blessed to have raised $2300.00. Thank you for your contribution which assisted us in meeting that goal. As the cost of hydro has increased by 15%, we shudder to think of the needs that will emerge this fall and winter.

On the day of the Fund Raiser, we were approached with a very serious need, as a person’s hydro was in threat of being shut off if the bill was not paid. This was confirming to us that we are making a difference and people know they can come to us in a crisis.

Blessings,   Lt. Dwight Millar
